 You use the shower button to regulate the force of the water through the hose. This allows for a more progressive and comfortable enema experience. 
 It is a very neat enema system. Its shower / enema nozzle is equipped to be used as a shower accessory. The enema shower kit comes with two nozzles, one is 5 "and the other 3.5". It also comes with a 6 foot (2 m) metal hose. One end of the pipe screws in your shower, the other end is where you attach your choice of nozzle. When the enema shower kit connects to your shower, it has a valve that directs water either through the nozzle and into you or the shower head.
